Though some people think that riding an ATV is similar to driving a car, the two are not the same. Though they both have four wheels, they are very different in how they operate. Riding an ATV is exciting, but never try it without wearing the right gear. There are no seatbelts, so you will need to be extra careful you do not flip over and injure yourself. Wear safety goggles, helmets, gloves and boots, get suited up in your safety gear before hitting the trail with your ATV.
Vehicle Inspection
Before you set out, it is vital to do a complete inspection on your ATV. Check all your tires and rims for wear and damage, replace the tires and rims if you see they are damaged. Check all your controls and ensure all the cables are perfect. Make sure the chain has no worn links and the sprocket no broken teeth.
